The Comanche is a revolutionary roto-moulded convertible kayak, which offers an amazing degree of versatility. First up, on a balmy day it can be paddled as a sit-on-top, but when conditions turn for the worse, the custom-made spray deck can be attached directly onto the cockpit, converting the kayak into a complete sit-inside kayak. The spraydeck can also be rolled back, creating a partial sit-in / sit-on which will keep the legs protected and deflect access chop from splashing into the cockpit.
The Comanche therefore ends the age old debate about whether to buy a sit-on-top or a sit-inside kayak, a recreational or a touring kayak. This craft is an all in one, converting from a sit-on to a sit-in, in one simple step.
The hull of the craft incorporates a number of ‘below the waterline’ features, which insure stability without compromising speed, which makes the kayak ideal for all levels of paddlers, whether novice or advanced.
